These are all things you might hear nonprofit staff say about social media. And well, they might have a point. There are pros and cons to social media use for sure.
But, as more and more of the world looks to social media for news, information, and even for volunteer and other giving opportunities, nonprofits have to keep up to gain the attention and involvement they seek in today's world.
